The Garden at Highgrove. With Candida Lycett Green. Photography by Andrew Lawson and Christopher Simon Sykes. London: Cassell & Co. (2001). ISBN 978-1-84188-142-3. La Mortella: An Italian Garden Paradise. Susana Walton. Photographs by John Ferro Sims. New Holland Publishers (2003). ISBN 978-1-85974-916-6. HRH The Prince of Wales (3 October 2000). "Bowel Cancer: A Cancer No one Wants to Talk About". Daily Mail. Archived from the original on 8 August 2020. From #1 New York Times bestselling author Christopher Andersen comes a vivid and unsparing yet sympathetic portrait of one of the most complex and enigmatic figures of our time: Charles, who has taken his place on the throne after being the oldest and longest-serving heir in British history. HRH Prince Charles (15 September 2021). "Prince Charles teams up with Jamie Oliver and Jimmy Doherty in war on food waste". Daily Mirror.

This book seems more sympathetic to Charles, mostly by putting his pathetic moral choices into a context of a family with unending pathetic moral choices so that it doesn’t seem as much of an outlier. Shakespeare's Sonnets and the Bible: A Spiritual Interpretation With Christian Sources. Ira B. Zinman. Publisher, World Wisdom (2009). ISBN 978-1-933316-74-1 Any royalties the King receives go to The Prince's Charities Foundation, [1] as do any profits from Duchy Originals. Dr Tony Juniper CBE is an environmentalist and writer. He is Chair of the official Nature recovery agency Natural England, a fellow of the University of Cambridge Institute for Sustainability Leadership and Chair of Cool Earth. He was formerly Director of Friends of the Earth, Executive Director at WWF, President of the Royal Society of Wildlife Trusts and Special Advisor to the Prince of Wales’s International Sustainability Unit. When the team were thinking about new titles and what topics children might be interested in, climate change and the importance of protecting our world was something we really wanted to explore," Walden said.

The Old Man of Lochnagar. Illustrated by Sir Hugh Maxwell Casson, K.C.V.O. London: Hamish Hamilton, 1980. Hardcover: ISBN 0-241-10527-7. As a member of the Royal Family, Charles used his power to build important organisations such as The Prince’s Trust, a charity that works to improve the lives of young people across the UK.

This is not about passing the problem to them, but helping to ensure they are armed with the facts and thus in a stronger position to urge that changes are made to protect their future," Juniper said. HRH The Prince of Wales (17 November 2019). "HRH The Prince of Wales: 'We urgently need a fresh, positive and practical vision for the countryside' ". Country Life. A Ladybird Book: Climate Change" includes an Afterword in which The Prince Charles, the former Prince of Wales sets out a personal message to readers. (The Afterword was written last year, when His Majesty The King was still The Prince of Wales.) Illustrated by Sir Hugh Casson, it is a story of an old man who lived in a cave in the cliffs near the corrie loch, Lochnagar-- a mountain that overlooks theroyal family's Balmoral Castle in Scotland. Interestingly, King Charles III had earlier told this story to his younger brothers, Andrew and Edward, in their childhood and he later got it published. As a young man, he developed a passion for one cause; the environment. Charles recognised that plastics and pollutants were causing harm to Earth, and as the Prince of Wales, he spent all his efforts championing climate justice and sustainability.

HRH The Prince of Wales (March 2021). "A message from HRH The Prince of Wales, honorary fellow of the Royal College of Physicians". Future Healthcare Journal. 8 (1): 5–8. doi: 10.7861/fhj.8.1.hrh. PMC 8004332. PMID 33791451. I am pretty sure this book was written not long before the Queen died and was sitting on a shelf waiting for the day it happened. The bibliography of Charles III, King of the United Kingdom and 14 other Commonwealth Realms, is a list of approximately three dozen works which the King has written, co-written, illustrated or narrated, and includes works for which he has written a foreword, introduction or preface.

Charity Appeals: The Complete Guide to Success. Marion Allford Dent. JM Dent & Institute of Fundraising Managers (1993). ISBN 978-0-460-86191-5.

The Parks and Gardens of Cornwall. With Douglas Ellory Pett. Cornwall: Alison Hodge Publishers (1998). Hardcover: ISBN 0-906720-27-3. I’m passionate about several of the king’s pet projects, like the environment and the loathing of urban architecture. And my opinion of him has changed from those days when he was breaking Diana’s heart, to realize that it’s got to be tough waiting a lifetime for the top job, knowing that only the death of his mother would allow him to be king. The King examines the private life of this historically important and controversial figure, set against the grand, thousand-year sweep of the British monarchy. This richly detailed biography covers it all, from his military training to his marriage to Lady Diana, through their separation and her tragic death to his marriage to Camilla Parker Bowles. In the process, it provides a balanced but fully honest look into the life of the new monarch. This book will tell you what the King—a man who has remained something of an enigma, shrouded in speculation and intrigue—is really like. HRH The Prince of Wales (10 November 2018). "How Britain's rich craft heritage is the key to our future". The Telegraph. History and Landscape: The Guide to National Trust Properties in England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Lydia Greeves. National Trust Books (2006). Hardcover: ISBN 978-1-905400-13-3.

Libby Walden, Commissioning Editor for Ladybird said the Ladybird title has a long history of making non-fiction accessible for children. I found Charles III to be a character who does not engender sympathy by me. He's a spoiled, entitled, unfailthful man who only wants what he wants and he wants it now. Once he got rid of his wife, Diana, and was able to marry Camilla, he pretty much lost interest in his boys and only cares what he looks like to the country and how they will treat him once he becomes King. Heaven help the British people now....the country would be better off with William as the King - with Charles being 74 already, that won't be very long. The Builder Illustrations Index 1843–1883. Ruth Richardson and Robert Thorne. Builder Group plc & Hutton + Rostron (1994). ISBN 978-0-907101-06-2.I’ve been listening to a lot of royal biographies since this summer’s Platinum Jubilee for Queen Elizabeth II but haven’t reviewed them, mainly because the bulk of them are just a rehash of old information portrayed in a new way. The King: The Life of Charles III is the first biography issued of the new king since ascending to the throne upon the death of his mother, Queen Elizabeth. The Practice of Classical Architecture: The Architecture of Quinlan and Francis Terry, 2005–2015. [4] David Watkin. New York: Rizzoli (2015). Hardcover: ISBN 978-0-8478-4490-6. Polo. Susan Barrantes, author and photographer. Introduction by Juan Carlos Harriot. Buenos Aires: Ediciones Lariviere, Rizzoli International (1997). Hardcover: ISBN 987-95280-8-5. There has been no more effective or committed champion of this cause than the former Prince of Wales and I am sure this book and his words will help to keep things moving in the right direction.”
