About this deal

When it was, what questions were asked, who was interviewing, what else he was talking about in the interview, tone of voice, and gestures are all important factors to interpreting his words. In addition to his work with Queen, he also led a solo career and was occasionally a producer and guest musician (piano or vocals) for other artists. Luego de ese éxito hubieron otros como "Radio Gaga", "Another one bites the dust" escritas por Roger y Jhon respectivamente. I also wished that the quotes had been credited; who they were spoken to and especially when they were said would have helped immensely to put things in perspective. The additional material has been drawn from sources not available or known to the authors at the time of compiling the original work, much of it never before published before and sourced from newly discovered interviews given by Mercury for magazine and newspaper articles that were ultimately not used, as well as from rare radio programmes or Queen Specials found on precious old cassette recordings and reel-to-reel tapes discovered within the Freddie archive.

No hay habido éxito que se le compare a Rhapsody, es una obra maestra con tintes de ópera y rock pesado. The story describes how on many occasions the group almost broke up, but was always kept together by their shared love of breaching musical boundaries. I look back at myself, and think oh my God, how could I have done that, wearing black nail varnish, the long hair and the make-up. What I did experience was that I was actually hearing Freddie saying the words as I read them, which was bizarre, delightful and heart-rending all at the same time. I think the guys have done an excellent job of capturing Freddie's essence in this clever book: it's the closest any of us are going to get to the fascinating, mercurial man that he was.Instead of a biography, in which the subject’s life is presented in a timeline and with a set of sources by a biographer, this book is put together to be Freddie Mercury’s own words. han cuidado mucho no hablar de ciertas cosas de su vida privada y se han centrado en su música,más que en la vida disoluta del cantante lo cual me alegro, que no haya predominado el morbo lamentablemente tenía que acabar así☹️. For example, something as simple as the band members' names and roles, or the Live Aid concert, or even the artists who played at the Freddie Mercury Tribute concert (which of course isn't mentioned because this is a "biography", meaning it represents events during Freddie's life, but I think the knowledge on events such as that one really complement the reading). I didn't find it easy reading: you "savour every moment" as it were, and I have taken my time to get through the book.

He talked so much about how important Queen was to him on so many differing levels throughout his career. Il risultato è stato un libro che non vedevo l'ora che finisse, ma che ho comunque letto fino in fondo per rispetto del protagonista. Freddie Mercury of Queen performs on stage at Groenoordhal, Leiden, Netherlands, 20th September 1984.The nearest thing to a Freddie Mercury autobiography as it is possible to achieve, “A Life, In His Own Words” is a meticulously assembled collection of moving, witty, and often irreverent quotes from the man himself. His quotes build up a peek for the reader into his life, however, he never once discusses his lover from 1984, Jim Hutton, who has sadly passed away.
